Accomplished actor, American Idol host. And then there’s the music.

As young as he is, it’s hard not to consider Harry Connick, Jr. as an American icon. A brilliant ambassador for jazz and New Orleans music hybrids, Connick again delivers blue-eyed soul with strong crossover potential on That Would Be Me — his latest of more than two dozen albums.

Connick enlisted the fantastic singer-songwriter and producer Butch Walker to assist with the new album, sending Walker demos simply recorded on an iPhone.
