Public Radio collaborative VuHaus will deliver a daylong stream of live performances from SXSW, featuring Spoon, Valerie June, and more…
It’s that time of year again – the time when your email inbox is filled with subject lines that read, “See you at SX?”
SX, the acronym formerly known as SXSW has been officially shortened to save us time. So instead of saying “South By South West,” we can now use the much more efficient “South By.” By making the adjustment, we’ll have more time to tweet things like emojis and pictures of margaritas.
However, sadly, for many of us, those emails are reminders of just how uncool we are, for we will not be able to attend this particular one of Austin’s six annual music festivals.
But there is good news – VuHaus, the 13-station public radio collective, will be on site to celebrate the Radio Day Stage — streaming live performances from the Austin Convention Center from 12n – 6pm CT Friday, March 17.
The lineup is as follows:
Hippo Campus – 12noon
Lizzo – 1pm
Chicano Batman – 2pm
Spoon – 3pm
Valerie June – 4pm
If you haven’t checked out VuHaus lately, it’s worth a stroll.
